THE VALLEY OF BLESSING

| II CHRONICLES
20:5-9 There's nothing like a blessing even in the valley! God is able to bless regardless of location. He owns the hills and He owns the valleys. God is in charge of it all. II CHRONICLES 20:1-12 Jehoshaphat saw that there was a multitude that came against the people of God. Always remember that the battle is the Lord's. Jehoshaphat knew what to do to get God's help: 1) fear the Lord 2) seek the Lord and 3) proclaim a fast. Judah gathered together to ask God for help. Jehoshaphat prayed before the congregation unto the Lord. Here is what he said: 1) Art Thou not God in heaven 2) Don't You rule over the kingdom of heaven 3) In Your hand there is power and might so that none can withstand Thee 4) Did You not drive the enemy out of this land and give it to us 5) When the temple was dedicated, You said You would hear when trouble comes. 6) Now, God, hear 7) They come to take our possession 8) Judge them for we have no might 9) We do not know what to do 10) Our eyes are on You II CHRONICLES 20: 13-19 Now Judah is the praising tribe. If ya want to win the battle, praise God. But ya must have a battle before you can win it. The Spirit came upon Jahaziel in the congregation. 1) Be not afraid or dismayed 2) The battle is the Lord's 3) God even told them where the enemy was going to be!! 4) Be still and see God's salvation 5) The Lord will be with you Then the congregation worshipped God because they knew He would win the battle. He never loses. II CHRONICLES 20: 20-37 It's not enough to just worship, you need to believe that God will do what He says. Singers were appointed to worship in the beauty of holiness. The more you sing and praise, the more your enemy will become as nothing. We should stop looking at the problem, start looking at the answer. The enemy destroyed one another and the Lord blessed His people because of their blessing Him. The valley was known as Berachah which means valley of blessing. God can take your valley and turn it into a blessing if you will bless Him. PSALMS 34:1-10 David blessed the Lord. He knew God wanted to be blessed, praised, exalted and lifted up. Here is a formula for a blessing: 1) Bless the Lord 2) Put praise in your mouth 3) Let your soul boast in the Lord 4) Magnify the Lord 5) Exalt the Lord 6) Seek the Lord - He will deliver you 7) Look to Him - He is light. Be not ashamed 8) God saves and delivers those who need it 9) Taste and see that the Lord is good 10) Trust in God, He will bless you 11) Fear the Lord, He will bless you 12) Seek God and He will meet all your needs THERE IS A VALLEY OF BLESSING!!!! |
