MY SOUL WEEPS
BY MICHAEL THOMPSON

MY SOUL WEEPS WHEN I SEE
A CHILD WHO HAS LESS THAN ME
WE HAVE SO MUCH
BUT WE DON'T USE IT TO HELP LIVES WITH A TOUCH
I'M SORRY I CAN'T DO MORE
BUT MY FAMILY IS TOO POOR
WHAT LITTLE THE LORD HAS GIVEN ME I MUST KEEP
SO ALL I CAN DO IS PRAY AND WEEP

PLEASE IF YOU READ THIS PRAY FOR ALL OF THOSE WHO HAVE LESS THAN YOU. THE MORE PRAYERS WE GET THE BETTER SO SEND THIS TO ALL THE PEOPLE YOU KNOW. THANKS.

MY YOUTH CAMP EXPERIENCE BY NICHOLE COLLINS

Youth Camp time is one of my most favorite times of the year. I love Youth Camp. I started going to Camp Mulberry back in 1998 when I was 17. I would have to say that was the most awesome youth camp ever because that was the year the Lord filled me with the Holy Ghost. I had been seeking the Holy Ghost for 2 weeks and I got it on June 23, 1998. That was the best thing that ever happened to me. My whole life was changed and I made a "u" turn and was headed in the right direction. Since then there have been ups and downs but I am still holding on, doing my best to serve the Lord.

I love youth camp because it is a great way to learn more about Jesus and grow stronger in him. Every message that is preached or taught, there is something that the Lord wants me to hear that I need that helps me. I love to be around other youth that want to praise Jesus. I love singing in the choir and it is an awesome feeling to feel the Lord's presence. Even in choir practice the main objective is to praise him and he anoints us to sing and magnify him.

At youth camp I have made some really great friendships; this is one of the good things about camp. You get to meet other young people who love the Lord and are filled with the Holy Ghost. A lot of the people I have met at camp I email and write letters to them and I can depend on them to pray for me, talk about problems and struggles, and they help encourage me, and I can do the same thing for them.

During last years youth camp, I was real down and depressed about something that had happened to me during the year and one of my really good friends, I will not mention her name but she knows who she is, really encouraged me and prayed for me and told me to Hang In There. That really helped a lot. A lot of times it is hard for me to talk to older people about things and easier for me to talk to other youth. If it wasn't for me coming to youth camp, I probably would have never met these really great friends.

Youth Camp is also about fun. Playing softball is one of my favorite fun activities to do. It is great to fellowship and have some good clean fun with other youth.

Youth Camp overall is just Awesome! I love every part of it! This coming year is my last year but I want to come back and every year that I am able to be a counselor or helper and be a part of it. It has been a big part of my life and I want to be a light to other young people and show them that no matter what they can depend on Jesus and he is always there. Jesus will be there for them no matter what. You have to just hold on and trust in him and he can see you through anything!
