You speak correctly when you speak of the rushing of events in the days in which you are living. The way you feel the pressures of change now, economical change, political change, technological change, religious change, many areas where changes are rushing past. Even in the last few years there have been dramatic changes. This is nothing in comparison, and people that walk in confusion do not know their way. Men that are intelligent in finance will not know which way to turn. Even just men that feel they can see the way ahead politically and can organize situations, shall be in confusion also. People that are in business or in the military will also be in confusion for one day one solution will seem to be the best and another day, another solution.

You, therefore, must realize that you are living in a time, the likes of which you have never experienced before. Others also have not experienced these situations. You do have an advantage, because you do listen to Me. I can speak to you and guide you in a direct way even when situations seem to be carrying you beyond your depth or control. There are going to be times when even strong people within the church are going to feel as if they are standing on a very weak bank. The river is rushing below them, and even the bank on which they are standing is crumbling. As they grasp for one branch and then another branch, those branches will break. They will feel that they are lost for they cannot control themselves against the rushing river. You shall speak to these people, for you recognize that I am standing down the stream. I have My hands outstretched, and although I shall allow many in My church, even yourselves, to feel the sweep of the current, and the helpless feeling of - "What shall I do?" You and they must remember that My arms are there to catch you. I shall allow you to be tested and tried, but just to a certain limit, then I shall say - "Stop" and I shall resue you.

In these difficult times you shall learn many things. Not only will you learn that I am your Source, but you will learn that My strength, My wisdom and My knowledge will surpass anything that the world can do. Whether their actions are from the skies, on the earth, by man or by machine, whatever they do is infinitesimal in comparison to My power and My strength and My wisdom.

So, My children, keep plugged into Me. Keep listening to Me and waiting upon Me. In this way you will be spared much that even other members of the church will go through in view of all this, I wish you to recognize that the church is on the battlefield. There is a civil war within the church, and there is also a war against the powers of the enemy. The civil war is between groups, between people within the church, those who have their roots in the past, and those who are listening and walking in that which I am doing today. It is not a time for soldiers to be polishing their armor. It is not time for them to be looking to buy the newest weapons, to buy the newest type of uniform, to buy the newest kind of vehicles for their armaments. It is time for the army of God to keep their eyes upon Me.

Did I not use David with a sling to overcome Goliath, a giant, who had the modern weapons of his day? Did not I bring victory to that shepherd boy? So, today, I shall bring victory to people within My church. I shall bring victory to those who keep their eyes upon Me, that are not encapsulated in a box but are willing to change and obey Me.

I have allowed this group to visit you, to show you what can happen, to show you that discipline is not necessarily holiness. What I am demanding of My people today is holiness: holiness in listening to Me: holiness in preparation: holiness in doing and acting as I would do and act in any situation. If the enemy can do nothing more than tie up groups in legalism or ridiculousness, things that might have served 50 years ago, even 25 years ago, but today they are not in tune with what I am doing or what is happening, he has accomplished a work against the church. I say to you that raggle-taggle group that Philip and Stephen have gathered around can be beautiful, but it can also be a source of pride. Walking in outward holiness, following all the rules and regulations to the letter can be a source of pride. I do not desire that people walk in this type of pride. These people must listen to Me.

What were the men like that turned the world upside down in the days of the early church? They were rough fishermen, garbed in such a way and talking in such a way that people knew their only Source of wisdom and power was that they had been with Me. This is the mark that will be upon My church in this day. They will not be judged by what they wear, nor by the jobs that they have. They are not going to be judged by the vehicles they drive, but they will be judged and commended by that fervent desire they have that will put them forward to fight for Me in the middle of the battle, no matter what the cost might be.

There will be no time nor place for those who are lazy, for those who want the easy road. But you and others, as leaders, are going to have to be ready to lead them into a battle that is not of your choosing, but a battle where I am Captain and lead and guide My troops. As Paul, in the rough and rugged days of the early church, a Paul that was trained and groomed, not just in the ways of the Jews but of the Pharisees, came to the place that he recognized that many of the rules and regulations being forced upon the church were not working. People were in a time of battle as they will be in the near future. There were people that were being martyred daily, thousands of them in all were being killed for My name. It was not a time to polish their armor, but it was a time to take what they had and go forth into battle.

I spoke to him and he went to Jerusalem. There the church council spoke and said - "We shall not put a charge upon these people heavier than they can bear. We shall speak to them to only abstain from things offered to idols, blood, things strangled and from fornication." This was a guideline. So I have spoken to you many years ago when you were putting your teachings together about modesty, moderation and division of the sexes. This is the criteria that you shall teach. This is the criteria that you shall live .

There shall be those like yourselves that will take what appears to be almost an Nazirite vow. You shall walk as you have been taught, in physical disciplines and outward disciplines. You shall do these things because I have laid them upon your hearts. There shall be others that shall join you in these disciplines, but this shall not be the criteria of the major force of the army.

I desire that you wait upon Me, and in relationship to what you have learned in the past few weeks, in what you have seen, in what you have experienced, in how you have seen that these people were so controlled by nitty-gritty things, even to a brand of potato chips. It seems to be so ridiculous, but in reality something that can be found in the midst of many that call themselves part of My body in these days.

Wait upon Me and I shall speak to you, and you shall write that which I speak to you. As you search My word, I shall speak to you and you will recognize that you are living in a different age. It is the end of the age, a time when events are rushing and I shall speak to you and guide you in these areas. You shall know exactly what you shall teach. You shall know exactly what things are offensive and what things are necessary. Listen to Me for I am your Guide and Counselor. I am your Teacher. I have never failed you and I shall not fail you now. I love you, my children, I love the walk that you are taking, but many that love Me and are armed for the battle, eager to win souls and are out on the front line cannot walk the path that you walk. But they will listen in the midst of the battle and I shall bless them and use them in a way that you, in your later years, could never be used. I shall give you direction and instruction in your teachings.

I will give you wisdom and understanding in praise, supplication and thanksgiving. You must seek Me with open minds and open hearts with My word open before you and allow Me to speak and to expand you in the way that I desire.
