In 1973, Sis. Jacqueline Lanning along with her teenage son, Bro. Jeff, went to Bangladesh to see the needs. We worked for Dr. Ronald Garst, an American Orthopedic Surgeon in the hospital. In 1975, Sis. Jacqueline returned to Bangladesh with her husband, Bro. Herman and their son, Bro. Jeff, and continued to work in the hospital.

In the very beginning, the first work that the Lanning's had begun was in Mirpur. A short time later, a young man named John Hira came knocking at their door. This was just the beginning of what God had in store for Sis. Jacqueline and Bro. John Hira.

In 1997, Bro. Herman and Sis. Jacqueline Lanning stepped into the administrative position. The work was then turned over to their son and his wife, Bro. Jeff and Sis. Karen Lanning (American Director) and their son in the Gospel, Bro. John and Sis. Rita Hira (Bangladeshi Director).
